How Many Photos Will I Receive?

There’s no hard and fast rule. I won’t chase a number and sacrifice quality, but equally I won’t hold out on you. You can expect somewhere around 500 images from full day coverage.

Who Owns The Copyright of the Photos?

As is standard with all photography, copyright remains with the photographer. However, you have complete licence to use, share and print the photos as much as like, providing it’s for personal use.

Can You Just Send Me The Raw Files?

Editing is a huge part of the process of creating wedding photographs that you will love. I spend time carefully selecting the best images from your day before processing the photographs to my particular style. As such, I don’t send out raw or unedited images.

Will My Photographs be Watermarked?

Definitely not. You’ll receive images in web & high resolution for online sharing & printing respectively. None of these will have a watermark on them. They’re your photographs, not my adverts. Saying that, a wee link to my site when you share them is always appreciated!

Why Should I Bother With An Engagement Shoot?

“We don’t like getting our photo taken, so we’re not fussed about an engagement shoot”

There are so many benefits to an engagement shoot I don’t even know where to start. I’ve heard that line so many times, and yet every single person that has an engagement shoot tells me how valuable it was!

Above all else, it’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other. Knowing how you interact with each other and seeing the dynamic between you both is a huge help to me and means we hit the ground running on the wedding day. Bonus, you get a set of awesome photographs of you both together. No selfie sticks or strangers required!

How Long Will It Take To Get My Photos?

Always within 6 weeks of your wedding, but usually within 4, depending on the time of year. I get more time to edit in March than I do in July, for example.

What Happens If We're Running Late? Will You Stay For The First Dance?

Weddings are prone to running late. So many factors go into the day that it’s almost inevitable. To that end, I always try to be as flexible as possible.

However, if things are running WAY behind the expected times, it may be necessary to charge for additional coverage. In this situation I’ll always make sure I discuss this with you at the time.

How Far Will You Travel? Do You Charge For Travel?

I LOVE travelling. I’m based in Glasgow but will happily head further afield.

For mainland UK weddings, travel is charged at £0.45 per mile out with Glasgow. Depending on location, it may be necessary to charge for overnight accommodation.
