Hi, my name’s Euan and I’m a wedding photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland!
So, as you already know, my name’s Euan Robertson and I’m a photographer living in Glasgow, Scotland. Joining me at home are my wife Cat, another cat (the cute, small, fluffy kind) called Bear, and Joni, our beautiful baby girl.
I first discovered photography by shooting bands, something I still do often. From small, sweaty gigs to T in the Park (now TRNSMT), it’s amazing fun and definitely influences the way I approach other types of photography. I have another website for that style of photography over at euanrphoto.com. I developed an incredible passion for photographing people and capturing characters and stories in my photographs, which naturally introduced me to wedding photography.
“Natural emotion beats forced poses. Every. Single. Time.
A Scottish wedding photographer with a passion for capturing natural emotion
I love being able to capture those precious moments you shared (and the moments you might have missed), the friends and family, the characters, the belly laughs and the tipsy tears. Your wedding day overflows with unique personality, unique personality that makes it your own, and when you look back at your wedding photos, there’s something incredibly satisfying about being able to relive that moment in time. You’re transported back, to do it all again, experiencing the nerves, the excitement, the love and hugs, and the (often incredibly embarrassing) dancing!
That, for me, is what wedding photography is all about. Distilling all of those wonderful moments to live over and over, again and again, until you can share them one day with people that love them as much as you do - even if they do laugh at your dodgy 2017 hair-do and fashion sense. I want to give you a set of photographs that are a beautiful representation of the story created during your wedding day, as you saw it, as your guests saw it - a true and honest account of the most special day of your life. I’ll create a unique look at what you were doing, the people you chose to celebrate your day with you, the jokes you laughed at and the bad dancing you cringed at (unless it’s your bad dancing, in which case you’ll just have to live with it, I can’t help you there!)
I won’t bark instructions, and I will never (ever!) tell you to say cheese (boke!). I’ll also never be demanding of your time and won’t keep you from your guests for hours. I will however help out and advise where and when I need to, but I’ll never be an overbearing presence on your day. I’ll also offer advice on what will make for the best photographs and I’ll work away alongside you, capturing your day as it unfolds.
